Fan art of different video games that meant a lot to me growing up
the Prince and his cousin, Kinoko
Crash Team Racing was my favorite racing game til I picked up Mario Kart
The Amazing Bag Man
from Spider-man (the 2000 video game).
Played it countless times on the PS1, just the first level with the bank heist was already countless hours of just seeing how I could mess with the guards. Scorpion, Shocker, Doc Ock. This game was the Arkham Asylum of its time and I would never play a better Spider-man game until Spider-Man 2 (the ps2 movie tie-in)
Used a gameshark to unlock all the costumes and my favorite was the Amazing Bag Man. Could only have 2 web cartidges which made the game way harder, but also played it with the gameshark on that gave me unlimited webbing.
Harvest Moon: Back to Nature was my first Harvest Moon game. I spent countless hours mining mostly because I wanted to see if I could find SECRETS. Made me feel sort of part of a community more than other games did. SO MANY STORYLINES. SO MANY POSSIBLE MARRIAGES. COWS. HORSES. CHICKENS. SHEEP. CROPS?!?!?!?!
Bust A Groove was one of the first games on the Playstation One that me and my sisters ever played and we were utterly confused dude to there being no tutorial on how to exactly play it. I didn't give up and then figured out attacks, dodges, how to actually dance in the game. Best introduction to dance music I. And just weird as shit characters I really still like today. Pander, Robo-Z and Capoeira being my favorites. Wished Ham would have been in Bust a Groove 2. Shorty was awesome. STRIKER was cool as hell.
Tentomon was my favorite Digimon from the show, had Kabuterimon action figures (did anyone remember that one figure where he could mega-digivolve into M-Kabuterimon? That was my favorite Digimon toy). Was sad I never got to have him as my partner in Digimon World on the Playstation, but then on Digimon World 2 I finally got to have him on my team and I was overjoyed.
I thought every other rookie digimon was lame. (Sorry)
Robo from Chrono Trigger
Parappa the Rappa
Brave Fencer Musashi
Qbby from Boxboy
one of my favorite 3DS games
one of the monsters from Monster Rancher 2. Always loved how in battle he's this huge monster while at the farm he's this tiny thing wandering about in his lil domicile.
hated playing Sonic Advance on the Game Boy Advance but kept playing the Chao part taking care of these guys because they were great
